My name is Cristy Cooley. I am the head girls' soccer coach and girls coordinator. I also teach 11th & 12th grade special education Basic English. A little about me: This is my sixth year in Plano ISD. I have 3 kids and 2 dogs. I live by the motto that "I will always treat your kids as if they were my own." I look forward to working with your students.
In his inaugural 2024 at Plano East Kolarov serves as the assistant soccer coach to the Lady Panthers.
Since 2013 Krasi Kolarov serve as Director of Athletics and Soccer Coordinator at Cedar Valley College. In his first stint with Cedar Valley from 2006-2010, Krasi served as the Head Men's and Women's Soccer coach and Physical Education instructor. While in the capacity he trained goal keepers, developed strength and conditioning programs, monitored the academic progress of the team, developed a year-round fundraising program all while improving the team's grade point average and conference record every year. He was also named 2017 Cedar Valley College Administrator of the Year.
Prior to Cedar Valley, Kolarov was the Head Women's Soccer coach at Northwood University from 2011-2013, where he was successful in leading the team to the Red River Conference tournament that played in the conference final. Also during that time Kolarov developed the Women's Soccer Team Training Manual, maintained operating and scholarship budgets, and was key in team fundraising.
Kolarov also spent time at Louisiana State University (Shreveport, LA) from 2010-2011, where he was over the Men's and Women's Soccer programs and led both teams to the Red River Conference finals, as well as producing multiple all-conference players along with the offensive and defensive players of the year.
From 2000-2006, Kolarov was a part of Hill College as the Assistant Women's Soccer coach, where he was over training goalkeepers, strength and conditioning, and developing a student success program for student athletes.
Kolarov earned his Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of Phoenix in 2008. He also earned his Master of Education in Kinesiology from Dallas Baptist University in 2010. Playing his college soccer at Hill College, Kolarov also has professional soccer experience competing for FC Spartak in Varna, Bulgaria.
Coach Bailey is beginning his 11th year coaching, returning to the Women's Soccer program after 1 year with the Men's side. He is an Austinite who is originally from Tokyo, Japan. Coach Bailey's playing career consisted of a short stint at St. Edward's University before going on to play Club Soccer at UT Austin. Afterwards, he began his coaching career at Lonestar Soccer Club before teaching/coaching at Lamar Middle School and McCallum High School.
At East, Coach Bailey is the JV1 Coach and the Varsity Assistant Coach. In addition to coaching, he is an Algebra teacher and the Algebra-2 team lead at Plano East.
Coach Solis teaches Physical Education at Armstrong Middle School. He is a tight end coach for Plano East Senior High's football team and the JV2 Girls Soccer Coach.
Coach Solis grew up in Fort Worth, Texas and attended Nolan Catholic High School where he played football (2-time state Champ 2004 & 2005). Coach Solis attended Northwestern College to play football as an Offensive Lineman (2-time All-Conference), majoring in Sociology and Criminal Justice.
In his free time, he loves to spend time with his family, going on vacations, swimming, fishing and barbequing. His favorite sports teams are the Dallas Cowboys and the Dallas Stars. Coach Solis is married to his wife, Sara. They are the proud parents of Kamryn (8) and Karsyn (5). Fun Fact: Coach Solis was the first in his family to go to college and the first to graduate.
