Coach Cooley is entering her 13th year as the Head Girls’ Soccer Coach at Plano East Senior High and her 18th year in education. In addition to coaching, Coach Cooley serves as the Assistant Athletic Coordinator, Physical Education Department Head, and Teen Leadership teacher at Plano East.
Born and raised in Texas, Coach Cooley grew up playing soccer for Challenge Soccer Club in Houston and graduated from Kingwood High School in Kingwood, Texas. She continued her playing career at the collegiate level, competing at the University of Arkansas from Fall 1991 through Spring 1993 before continuing playing at Oklahoma Christian University in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Coach Cooley moved to Dallas in 1994 and, at just 21 years old, started and co-owned a business that trained middle and high school athletes. During her early years in Dallas, she also served as the FCA Huddle Leader at Plano East Senior High.
She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of North Texas and later completed her master’s degree in Cross-Cultural Education. In 2008, she began her career as an educator, allowing her to spend more time with her three children while continuing to work with young athletes, which is her passion. All three of her children went on to compete at the collegiate level.
Madison, 28, is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and currently works in Vietnam as a Project Manager. Austin, 25, is a graduate of Schreiner University, an NCAA Collegiate Champion, a Marine, and a military officer. Cash, 19, is a U17 Greco-Roman World placer and currently wrestles and studies business at the University of Missouri.
Plano East holds a very special place in Coach Cooley’s heart. Her goal is to help young athletes understand that while soccer is important, they are so much more than the sport they play. She strives to create a family-centered environment where players and parents feel that Plano East is an extension of their own family.
Coach K joined Plano East Girls Soccer in 2024 the JV Coach and is currently the Varsity Assistant Coach to the Lady Panthers.
From 2013 to 2017, Coach K served as Director of Athletics and Soccer Coordinator at Cedar Valley College. In his first stint with Cedar Valley from 2006-2010, Krasi served as the Head Men's and Women's Soccer coach and Physical Education instructor. While in the capacity he trained goal keepers, developed strength and conditioning programs, monitored the academic progress of the team, developed a year-round fundraising program all while improving the team's grade point average and conference record every year. He was also named 2017 Cedar Valley College Administrator of the Year.
Prior to Cedar Valley, Kolarov was the Head Women's Soccer coach at Northwood University from 2011-2013, where he was successful in leading the team to the Red River Conference tournament that played in the conference final. Also during that time Kolarov developed the Women's Soccer Team Training Manual, maintained operating and scholarship budgets, and was key in team fundraising.
Coach K also spent time at Louisiana State University (Shreveport, LA) from 2010-2011, where he was over the Men's and Women's Soccer programs and led both teams to the Red River Conference finals, as well as producing multiple all-conference players along with the offensive and defensive players of the year.
From 2000-2006, Coach K was a part of Hill College as the Assistant Women's Soccer coach, where he was over training goalkeepers, strength and conditioning, and developing a student success program for student athletes.
Coach K earned his Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of Phoenix in 2008. He also earned his Master of Education in Kinesiology from Dallas Baptist University in 2010. He played college soccer at Hill College. He also has professional soccer experience competing for FC Spartak in Varna, Bulgaria.
Coach Henderson is a Health teacher at McMillen High School. He has taught within the East Cluster for the past 19 years. During his 23 year coaching experience, he coached football, baseball, track and basketball. He is currently the wide receivers coach for Plano East Senior High's football team and is returning as the JV girls soccer coach. He brings passion and leadership to the team.
Coach Henderson grew up in a suburb of Detroit, Michigan and played youth soccer, in addition to football, basketball and baseball. He served in the US Navy and attended Eastern Michigan University earning a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and Health.
Coach Henderson is a proud father to his 3 kids.
